I know this topic has been brought up many times, but GW2 is soon approaching and it's not like ANET has done such last second updates/add ons.

I vote for NPC Hairstylist for the guildhalls or outposts so players who are just bored with the same hairdo or are in the impression of, "What the heck was I thinking" fix the issue by paying a few to get it re-styled.

Everquest and other MMOs can do it, Guild Wars has no excuse.

I think I really lost all my hopes about this thing. Even when is VERY EASY to implement (transform the bandanna in a hair style, and done, repeat as many hairs are needed)

Frankly, I think it's kind of a useless addition, and I never understood why people wanted it so much, but I don't see how it could possibly hurt anything, so

I guess they are keeping this and auction house as selling points for GW2, they are like the two most requested unimplemented features.

It'd work if Anet implemented a hairstyle hat, however anet doesn't want to implement a hairstyle hat. It's a nice idea, and it doable given the limitations we know about. However people have been asking for a hairstyle changer for ages and Anet could have easily included something in NF or GWEN to add this functionality.

Agreed, this has been covered countless times, along with a plastic surgeon to change appearance.

People have been clamoring for this for over 3 years now, I assume there's something with the coding that doesn't allow it? I'm no programmer so I really don't know.

They could just allow us to remake the character. I mean, you make a new character and put the same name, then a window appear asking you if you want to replace your existing character with this appearance, click yes, and done. You lost nothing and change appearance.

And I insist, this is VERY EASY to implement, they just DON'T WANT to make it, maybe for a specific reason I totally ignore, but not a technical or developing reason, for sure.

As much as this has been mentioned before, I think Anet just don't care. It's much like a 'stuff you' attitude, what with this suggestion having been around for some years now.

i think this would be a fun addition if they made it a Cross-campaign scavenger hunt, like the black moa chick. like the Stylist is missing his scissors and you have to go try and find them, and his hair gell and dye.

It already annoying when Anet is just making iddy biddy updates on things that are just boring, such as these awkward lil' reward events. The NPC Stylist would be one full of real gratitude.
